Christy Schuld enters her second season with SMU in 2025, first with football.
She joined the Mustangs as Director of Sports Nutrition for Olympic sports prior to the start of the 2024 year before being promoted to Football in the spring of 2025.
She previously work at USC from to 2021 to 2024 as the Sports Dietitian for the Baseball, Lacrosse, Soccer, and Tennis programs.
Prior to USC, Schuld participated in the Gatorade Sports Nutrition Immersion Program (SNIP) as a Fellow at the Utah Jazz (2020-2021).
She received a Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan and Longevity at USC in 2020. While a student in the Coordinated Program, Schuld held dietetic internships with USC Athletics, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Keck Hospital, and Verdugo Hills Hospital.
