Demarieh Wesley is entering his first season with SMU Football as the Graduate Assistant for Football Operations. In his role, he assists with coordinating daily practice schedules and logistics, setting up and breaking down practices and operations-led events, supporting game-day preparation, coordinating with game officials, and maintaining schedules, calendars, and operational documents.

Prior to joining SMU, Demarieh accepted an opportunity with Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) as an Inside Sales Associate, working with both the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia 76ers. In this role, he helped generate revenue through the sale of season tickets, partial plans, group outings, and suite rentals while building relationships with current and prospective clients.

Demarieh is a proud graduate of Hampton University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and was an active member of the Hampton University Men’s Lacrosse Team. During his time at Hampton, he served as the Director of Athletics for the Student Government Association, was a member of the Gamma Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and participated in the Greer Dawson Wilson Student Leadership Program.

Throughout his collegiate career, Demarieh gained valuable experience across various areas of the sports industry through internships and professional opportunities with the Chicago Bulls, Pacers Sports & Entertainment, Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center, NASCAR through Position Sports, Octagon, and the Hampton University Athletic Department. These experiences have provided him with a diverse foundation in football operations, professional sports, sales, event management, and athletic administration.
