Henry Lenhardt joined the Mustangs as Assistant Director of Public Relations in June of 2024. He is the primary contact for the women’s basketball and women’s soccer programs.
Lenhardt came to the Hilltop after spending two years at the University of Cincinnati. He joined UC in August of 2022 as a Graduate Assistant, working with the track and field, cross country and swimming and diving programs while also tertiary contact for men’s basketball and football. During that time, he earned his master's degree in sports administration.
In June of 2023, he was promoted to the role of Assistant and served as the primary contact for women’s soccer and track and field and cross country. He also served as a secondary contact for men’s basketball while increasing his work with the football program.
While at Cincinnati, he covered the Bearcats’ men’s track and field program during its AAC Indoor Championship-winning season and was the main contact for women’s soccer and track and field and cross country during the university’s transition into the Big 12. Lenhardt also spent time as the women’s basketball play-by-play radio announcer.
Prior to working at UC, the Dublin, Calif. native attended Washington State University and graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media production, double majoring in public relations and broadcast news.
At WSU, he worked in the athletic communications department all four years he attended the university and served as the primary contact of the track and field team his senior year.
