Kylie Vlk is an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Her primary responsibility is the healthcare of the SMU Cross Country and Track and Field teams. She started at SMU in 2025 as an Intern Athletic Trainer working with the men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs.

Kylie earned her Master of Athletic Training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. During her time there she was able to get valuable experiences with local high schools, junior colleges, orthopedic trauma clinics, Texas Tech University, and the University of Arizona.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Florida State University in 2023. While at FSU, she worked with the cross country and track & field teams, women’s basketball, and multiple club sports including rugby, lacrosse, and flag football.

As a military kid Kylie was able to live all over the country and even in Europe while growing up. She currently resides in Dallas, Texas.Â
