Tyler Kremzar

Tyler Kremzar joined SMU Athletics in June 2022 as the Director of Event Operations. In his role, he serves as the game manager for Men's Basketball and Volleyball. He also oversees Football Gameday Parking & Transportation Operations in addition to Moody Coliseum and Crum Basketball Center and any special needs for Men's and Women's Golf and Rowing programs. He has assisted with the hosting of AAC Championships, the 2023 Women's Basketball Final Four, and will be the point of contact for the 2027 Women's Golf Regional at Trinity Forest Golf Club. Kremzar also serves as the Secondary Sport Administrator for Volleyball.
 
Prior to SMU, Tyler Kremzar served as the Director of Facilities and Events for Wichita State Athletics since June 2019. As a member of Shocker Athletics, Kremzar's duties included serving as Volleyball game manager and Men's Basketball concourse manager. He was responsible for the hiring of all athletic event and parking staff, overseeing the athletic facility calendars, and acting as the main point of contact for all external events, including KSHSAA State Championships, graduations, etc.
 
Kremzar previously spent nearly three years at the University of Houston as the Game Operations and Event Management Coordinator before being promoted to Assistant Director for Game Operations and Event Management in September 2017. Before being elevated, Kremzar acted as game manager for Tennis, Men's and Women's Golf and Indoor Track and Field programs, while assisting in the planning and execution of other assigned home athletic events and acting as the point of contact for stadium tours. He then transitioned to game manager for Women's Soccer and Softball, and supervised all Football Gameday Parking Operations.
 
Kremzar joined the Cougars after working for a year at SMU as an Athletics Operations Assistant. In his first stint as a Mustang, he was the game manager for Men's and Women's Tennis, Women's Basketball and Men's and Women's Soccer, and assisted with Football and Men's Basketball gameday operations.
 
He previously served in the athletic marketing offices at Texas A&M, TCU, and Tennessee before beginning work with SMU.
 
Kremzar, who hails from DFW, received his Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management with a Minor in Business from Texas A&M in 2015 and his master's in Sport Management from Wichita State University in 2022. Kremzar and his wife, Josie, are proud parents of their two children, Sophie and Luka.
