Zeke Armijo enters his first season with the Mustangs, joining SMU in May 2025 as a Creative Graduate Assistant.
In this role, he is responsible for designing and producing visual content including graphics and photography to support SMU football's recruiting efforts and social media presence.
Before arriving at SMU, Armijo served as the Graphic Designer and Photographer for Clemson men’s basketball. During the 2024-25 season, he played a key role in shaping the team’s creative direction, contributing to a historic campaign that featured a school-record 27 wins and an NCAA Tournament appearance. He also contributed to creative efforts for various other teams, capturing and producing content during media days, practices, and gamedays.
Before attending Clemson, he played defensive back in his hometown at Bakersfield College in California from 2020-2022, where he earned associate degrees in Communication Studies and Liberal Arts. He then transferred to Clemson University, graduating in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Advertising from the Temerlin Advertising Institute at SMU.
