SMU Athletics

Alex Gordon came to the Hilltop in 2022 as Director of Marketing and was promoted to Assistant A.D. in January 2023.

Gordon was part of the team that won PacNet Star of Year for 2025. 
 
At SMU, Gordon oversees all elements of SMU’s marketing and promotions efforts and manages a staff of full-time employees as well as graduate assistants and student assistants.
 
Prior to his arrival, Gordon worked at Houston, Auburn, Texas Tech and Cincinnati.
 
He holds both a B.S. and an M.S. from Cincinnati.
