Jim Henry Named Assistant Men's Swimming & Diving

Jim Henry has been named assistant men's swimming coach, Head Coach Eddie Sinnott announced today.
Henry, age 30, comes to SMU from the Allen Independent School District after having been the boy's and girl's swimming coach at the Peddie School in New Jersey. He will assist in all phases of the program, including administration of SMU's summer camps.
"I may have lucked into hiring the best young coach in the country," Sinnott said. "He's known and well respected by coaches around the country. He's a talented coach and administrator who knows swimmers across the country that will help with recruiting."
Henry will replace 10-year assistant coach and 1984 SMU graduate, Greg Rhodenbaugh, who left to become the top assistant men's swimming coach at the University of Arizona.
