DALLAS (SMU) -- The SMU Mustangs take on long-time metroplex rival TCU in their season-opener in a 5:05 p.m. matchup on Sunday, Nov. 24, at Moody Coliseum.
SMU enters the game after going 2-0 in the preseason, but the seasoned 1-0 Frogs have a regular-season game under their belts and completed a team trip to Australia this summer.
SMU and TCU have a long and storied history on the hardwood, with the series dating back to the 1918-19 season, SMU?s third season of hoops. The Mustangs hold a convincing 97-81 series advantage, buoyed by a 13-game win streak over the Horned Frogs from 1959 to 1965.
