DALLAS (SMU) -- Looking to snap a three-game losing streak, the SMU Men's Basketball Team hosts the Baylor Bears and former coach Dave Bliss in a matchup of former Southwest Conference rivals on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 7:05 p.m.
The three-game slide is the longest such streak for the Mustangs since the 2000-01 season, when SMU lost six straight to close the season.
SMU and Baylor have a long history on the hardwood dating back to the 1917-18 season, the Mustangs? second season of hoops.
The Ponies lead the series by a convincing 98-73 margin and have won two straight in Moody Coliseum. Coach Mike Dement is 1-0 versus the Bears in Dallas and 1-2 overall against BU.
