Mustangs Head To Waco

DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU Mustangs face their second straight Big 12 opponent on Wednesday when they travel to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears on Dec. 3 at the Ferrell Center.
SMU is coming off a thrilling 62-59 win over Texas Tech on Monday and will look to run its record to 3-1 before an extended break for semester finals.
Longtime foes, the two schools have met 172 times on the hardwood with the Mustangs holding a convincing 99-73 series edge. With 99 wins over the Bears, only the Rice Owls have fallen victim more frequently to the Mustangs. SMU has boiled Rice 109 times and will look for a 100th win over Baylor on Wednesday.
SMU has won four of the last six in the set including a 66-58 win in Dallas last season, but last won in Waco back on Jan. 11, 1995, an 84-78 win at the Ferrell Center.
Due to a conflict with the SMU women's game, the men's game will air on Fox Sports 1190 AM with Josh Lewin and Allen Stone calling the action. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
