DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU Rowing Team finished 39th in the Championship Eight race this past weekend at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Mass. The Mustang varsity eight rowed the three-mile course in 18:55.9.

The U.S. National Team won the event in 16:34.6, while Princeton University's 2nd place time of 16:50.0 was top among collegiate entries.

The Ponies return to action on Saturday, October 29, when they compete in the Pumpkin Head of the Colorado Regatta in Austin, Texas.
