SMU rowing welcomes Morgan Brew to its incoming 2025-26 freshman class.
 
Brew hails from Austin, Texas where she rowed with Austin Rowing Club. Some rowing accomplishments include placing 13^th at the Head of the Charles in the youth four. She placed 12^th at the Nationals Youth Four in 2025.

"Morgan's remarkable talent and dedication shine through her leadership in guiding her boats to top finishes at prestigious national regattas, including the Head of the Charles and the Youth National Championships. As a President's Scholar at SMU, she embodies our commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the water. Morgan's multi-sport background and vibrant energy will undoubtedly elevate our team's culture and contribute significantly to the SMU community. We're proud to have such an outstanding local talent join our world class program."
 
Brew is most excited about having the opportunity to row with other passionate people and grow as a person. She is also thrilled to be able to create lifelong friendships and be in a competitive athletic and academic environment to pursue her goals.
