Final Stats

DALLAS (AP) - Justin Ingram scored 23 points and Keonta Howell added 17 as Toledo defeated SMU 72-60 on Sunday.

Ingram hit 8-of-12 from the field, including 5-of-7 from 3-point range, for the Rockets (2-1). Howell came off the bench to hit 6-of-11 from the field and all four of his free throws. Kashif Payne added 12 points and Jonathan Amos had 10 for Toledo.

Derrick Roberts led SMU (1-2) with 17 points and Devon Pearson added 10.

Donatas Rackauskas had 10 rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals for SMU.

Toledo led 35-28 at the half and led by 19 at 60-41 with 6:50 left.

Toledo shot 57 percent from the field while SMU shot 38 percent.
