Philip Griffin Wins U.S. Diving Midwest Championship Three-Meter

SMU diver Philip Griffin won the three-meter event at the U.S. Diving Midwest Championships being held at the Red Barr Aquatic Facility on the Campus of SMU Friday.
The victory qualifies him for the U.S. National Championships Aug. 9-13 in Huntersville, North Carolina. Griffin, a junior from Carrollton, Texas, was a 2004 All-American and returns as SMU's top diver in 2005.
The U.S. Diving Midwest Championships continue at the Barr Facility through July 24th.
