SAN ANTONIO (SMU) -
Even when the rain forced the matches to be delayed at the UTSA Tennis Courts Saturday, the SMU women's tennis team was still on top of their game at they shut-out both Texas -San Antonio and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Mustangs improve to 2-1 on the early season.
Because of the rain, the TAMUCC match was played first as the Mustangs defeated the Islanders, 6-0.

Playing late into the night, the Mustangs were able to come out with another win as they downed UTSA, 4-0.
