Mustang Swimmers Continue To Perform Well At US Open

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (SMU) - On the second day of the US Open, several members of the No. 7 SMU women's swimming and diving continued posted a strong performance.
Starting off the day, Anja Carman raced a personal season best time in the 100 back for 29th place. Following in the 200 free, Celina Lemmen swam a time of 2:05.68 to advance to the finals where she placed 21st with a time of 2:05.46. Former Mustang, Flavia Rigamonti placed 45th with a time of 2:07.55.
The Mustangs concluded the second day with the 100 fly as SMU alum, Martina Moravcova finished third with a time of 1:00.11. Current Mustang, Justine Clark placed 12th with a time of 1:02.39. Angela San Juan Cisneros clocked a time of 1:03.60 for 25th place.
The US Open will conclude tomorrow.
