Inside College Hoops With Matt Doherty Begins Jan. 8

DALLAS (SMU) --- SMU men's basketball coach Matt Doherty will have a weekly one-hour radio show beginning Jan. 8, 2007. Inside College Hoops with Matt Doherty is hosted by Rich Phillips, the voice of the Mustangs, and will be on KAAM 770 AM, the home of Mustangs' basketball. The weekly event will be held at Ten Sports Grill in downtown Dallas. Fans can also listen to the show at SMUMustangs.com.
The show runs from Jan. 8 to March 26 beginning at 7 p.m. The first show on Jan. 8 will begin at 6 p.m. due to the BCS Championship game that evening. The show is a partnership of ISP Sports, SMU Basketball, Ten Sports Grill and KAAM 770 AM.
"I am fired up to talk SMU basketball with college basketball fans all throughout Dallas and Ft. Worth," says Doherty. "Ten Sports Grill is an awesome spot for basketball fans to gather and talk hoops!"
Fans can attend the show in-person each week to talk with the coach. Mustang basketball fans can also ask questions by calling during the show to 866-239-5139 or going to SMUMustangs.com and clicking the link for "Inside College Hoops" to submit their questions to coach Doherty in advance.

Ten Sports Grill is located at 1302 Main St. in downtown Dallas at the corner of Main and Field. Ten Sports Grill is two blocks south of the DART Rail's Ackard Station. It also offers valet parking, metered parking, or garage parking at the nearby CityPark's Metropolitan Garage or Hotel Adolphus.

The Mustangs visit Metroplex rival TCU on Thursday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. The game is on CSTV and is the first of five nationally televised SMU games this season.
