FT. WORTH (SMU) - The SMU women's tennis team fell today to No. 12 TCU, 7-0. The Mustangs are 6-3 on the season while the Horned Frogs advanced to 3-0.

Georgiana Marta tried to spark a rally at the No. 3 singles spot, but was held off my Anna Sydorska, 6-0, 7-6(2). At No. 6 Halley Rambally started on the right step as she won the first set 7-5, but fell in the next set, 6-2, and the tie breaker, 7-4. At the No. 1 position, Natalia Bubien fought against Nicole Leimbach who is ranked No. 5 on ITA polls.

Up next for the Mustangs is a home match verses Louisiana-Lafayette on Sat., Feb. 18 at 10 a.m.
