AUSTIN (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team dropped one spot to fifth place following the second round of the 33rd-annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at the University of Texas Golf Club. As a team, SMU shot a 24-over 312 to sit at 41-over 617, trailing leader Duke (+28) by 13 strokes.

Jennifer Ackerson and Kristina Rothengatter are leading SMU, as both stand at 9-over 154 to tie for 10th. Laura Cross is two shots back of her teammates at 11-over 155 and is tied for 21st. Lacey Jones (12-over 156) and Kate Ackerson (18-over 162) are tied for 24th and 53rd, respectively.
