AUSTIN (SMU) - SMU golfers Lacey Jones and Kate Ackerson rank in the top 10 and the SMU team is in sixth following two rounds at the 34th-annual Betsy Rawls Invitational at the par-72, 6,323-yard University of Texas Golf Club.

Jones (73-77) is in seventh after a second-round 77 while Ackerson's 73 on Saturday moved her up into a tie for 10th (78-73). Kristina Rothengatter (82-80 - T-51), Sarah Dodson (85-78 - T-57) and Ashley Deatherage (80-86 - T-72) round out the SMU squad. SMU is still without seniors Jennifer Ackerson and Laura Cross, who are currently sidelined.

The tournament concludes with the final 18 set for Sunday, March 18. Tee times will begin at 8:15 a.m. Central from the first and 10th holes.
