Holcombe Qualifies For NCAA Championships

AUSTIN (SMU) - SMU men's diver Preston Holcombe qualified to compete in the NCAA Championships this weekend as he participated in the NCAA Zone "D" Championships. The event began on Friday and concluded today.
Today, Holcombe placed sixth in the platform diving event with a score of 569.00 in the finals and a score of 276.90 in the prelims which rolled over for the final score.
With seven NCAA bids available from Zone "D", all seven men qualified for participation at the NCAA Championships.
Both the men's and women's SMU swimming teams prepare for their upcoming competition in the NCAA championships.
