Ann Arbor, Mich. (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team had a tough final day at the NCAA Central Regional at the UM Golf Course, carding a 323 to finish at 934 in 15th place. Of SMU's five golfers, only one posted a score better than 82 over the final 18.

Kate Ackerson was SMU's top finisher, going 75-75-76 to finish in a tie for 24th at 226. Sister Jennifer Ackerson, who entered the day tied for 10th, shot 82 over the 18 and finished in 33rd at 227. Sarah Dodson (76-81-83-240-84), Kristina Rothengatter (80-81-82-243-T89) and Ashley Deatherage (78-84-87-249-T97) rounded out the SMU team.
