BEIJING, China (SMU)--Former Mustang swimmer Laura (Reback) Bennett has claimed the first spot on the US Olympic triathlon team.
Bennett came in third overall and first for the U.S. in the BG Beijing World Cup, qualifying for her first Olympic team spot. She was fourth and the team alternate in the 2004 Olympics and 5th in the 2000 Olympic trials.
