DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU women's team got 22 points from senior Janielle Dodds and double-doubles from sophomores Delisha Wills and Brittany Gilliam while taking Conference USA-leading UTEP to overtime before falling, 69-64.
Dodds fell one rebound short of being the third Mustang to notch a double-double for SMU (14-6 overall, 4-3 C-USA). Wills scored 15 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, and Gilliam scored 12 points and had 12 rebounds.
UTEP (16-2, 7-0) had four players score in double figures, led by senior Izabela Piekarska's 19 points and 11 rebounds.
