ARLINGTON, Texas (SMU)--The SMU women's tennis team (6-0) blanked UT-Dallas Sunday afternoon at the Huffines Center in Arlington. Freshman Jordan Hamilton made her collegiate debut in the win, taking a victory at No. 6 singles.

The Mustangs won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point.

In singles, Kseniia Tokarieva played at No. 1 for the first time this season and picked up a win over Sylvia Brownfield, 6-0, 6-0. Pavi Francis won at No. 2, beating Savannah Matlock in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0, while newcomer Jessica Yanoff defeated Susan Heston at No. 3, 6-1, 6-0. Kristen Reid beat Florence Corteza at No. 4, 6-0, 6-0. In the five-slot, Nicole Briceno defeated Tania Foster, 6-0, 6-0. Hamilton picked up her first collegiate win at No. 6, defeating Lily Lorkowski, 6-0, 6-0.

"It was very kind of UT-Dallas to add us to their schedule on such short notice," said head coach Lauren Longbotham-Meisner. "I have to give their girls and their program a lot of credit."
