Austin (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team is in 13th place following 18 holes at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at the University of Texas Golf Club on Monday, March 17. SMU carded a 35-over 323, but is just six shots back from sixth place.

Individually, Laura Cross paced the `Stangs with a 78 to tie for 19th. Lacey Jones is 33rd at 80, while Paige Martin is 52nd at 82. Tia Gannon (83) and Sarah Dodson (88) are tied for 59th and 84th, respectively, to round out the SMU team. The Mustangs are still playing without All-C-USA golfer Kate Ackerson, who is sidelined with an injury.
