AUSTIN, Texas (SMU) - SMU senior Lacey Jones posted a solid final round at the 35th-annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at The University of Texas Golf Club on Wednesday, March 19, and finished tied for 13th in the tournament. Jones carded a 78 over the final 18 while combating 25-mile per hour winds and finished at 14-over 158 for the 36-hole tournament.

As a team, SMU was 13th following Monday's round one before inclement weather conditions canceled the second round on Tuesday. The Mustangs rebounded on Wednesday and jumped up to finish tied for 10th with Indiana at 654. SMU topped Wisconsin, Kansas, Baylor, Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas State.

Laura Cross's 162 tied her for 32nd, while Paige Martin's 167 was good for 57th. Tia Gannon shot 169 to tie for 67th, while Sarah Dodson's 172 left her back in 77th.
