EL PASO, Texas (SMU) - SMU senior Lacey Jones posted a second round 78 and is tied for eighth place at 152 entering Wednesday's final round at the 2008 Conference USA Championships. As a team, SMU jumped up three spots to fourth at 618 at the par 72, 6,294-yard Butterfield Trail Golf Club.

Laura Cross posted the low SMU score of the day with a 76 and is tied for 19th at 156. Tia Gannon also sits in the top-20, sitting tied for 16th at 155. Paige Martin's 157 has her 21st, while Sarah Dodson is in 26th at 158.

Tulsa leads the tournament at 601, while Abby Bools of East Carolina and Woeri Shin of Tulsa share the individual lead at 147. The winners of the C-USA Championship receive automatic berths to the NCAA Regionals.
