DALLAS (AP) - Joseph Turner ran for 67 yards and a pair of 4-yard touchdowns as TCU defeated SMU 48-7 on Saturday.

TCU converted two turnovers into touchdowns less than six minutes into the game and SMU never quite recovered.

SMU quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell completed 20-of-36 passes for 218 yards and one touchdown. Mustangs receiver Emmanuel Sanders led all receivers with six receptions and 62 yards.
