MEMPHIS, Tenn.- Memphis scored two second half goals to defeat SMU 2-0 Friday night at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex. The Mustangs fall to 4-9-1 and 2-3-1 in C-USA, while the Tigers improve to 10-5-0 and 5-2-0 within the league.

Amanda Olszewski started the scoring in the 67th minute for Memphis with an assist by Ashley Berra. Memphis received a second goal in the 79th minute from Kelsey Bakker, and Berra earned her second assist of the night on the play.

SMU earned 12 corners to Memphis' six. Memphis had the slight edge in shots, leading 13 to 10. Courtney Webb made five saves for SMU. Kaitlyn Eidson led the Mustangs with four shots offensively.

The Mustangs play their last road game of the regular season on Sunday against UAB at 1 p.m. The Mustangs return home to Westcott Field on October 23 as they take on UCF at 7 p.m.
