MADISON, Wisc. (SMU) - The Lady Northern Invitational was delayed during the second of two rounds on Sunday, Sept. 27, as severe weather threatened the Madison area. Golfers were called off the University Ridge Golf Course at approximately 5:15 p.m. CDT. The completion of round 2 will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Monday with the third round beginning at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Ohio State finished the first round in first place with a 5-under-par 283. SMU was 15th at 41-over 318. Maude-Aimee LeBlanc of Purdue and Amy White of Ohio State were co-leaders after round one with 4-under-par 68s. Jennifer Hooper was the top Mustang in round one, firing a 2-over 74.
