ATHENS, Ga. - The SMU men's swim team finished day two of the Bulldog Shootout hosted by the University of Georgia, Monday in Athens. Matthew Culbertson won the 1M event with a score of 342.20.

His victory comes on the heels of a sixth place finish overall in the 3M on Sunday, with a score of 340.10. As part of the Bulldog Shootout, SMU is also competing against Georgia as a duel meet. Using only SMU and Georgia divers, Culbertson has finished first both days.

Also competing for the Mustangs was sophomore Richard Cornelius who finished 37th with 198.70 in the 1M. In the 3M event Sunday, Richard finished 27th with 257.20. Both Culbertson and Cornelius will compete Tuesday in the platform event. Full results will be made available on gomustangs.com.
