Men's Swimming Falls 164-107 to Arizona

Tuscon, Ariz. (SMU) -The SMU men's swim team fell 164-107 to Arizona in its first dual meet of 2010. The Mustangs did put up a good effort, winning three events on the day.

The first event the team captured was the 100 Yard Freestyle, won by ManDog Saduskas with a time of 45.97. SMU then captured the 200 yard breaststroke, earning the top two finishers in the event. Tom Cole won top honors with a time of 2:02.30. Ed Downes came in next finishing in just 2:06.48. The Mustangs capped off the day with a victory in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. The team of Greg Doughty, ManDog Saduskas, Pontus Renolm and Thomas Fadnes were the four involved in the top group, finishing in 1:23.68.

SMU will return the pool next Friday as part of the SMU Classic.
