Rio Grande, P.R. (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team remains in 15th place following the second round at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic. SMU carded a team 314 over the second 18 holes and is at 630 entering Tuesday's final round. No. 9 Alabama still leads at 582. The event is being played at the Trump International Golf Club on the Championship Course, a par-72, 6,219-yard venue designed by Tom Kite.
Leading the way for SMU is Tia Gannon, who is tied for 27th at 7-over 151 following a 75 on Monday. Tanya Wadhwa (154/T38th), Jennifer Hooper (162/T74th), Kalie Presti (163/76th) and Liz Wells (166/T80th) round out the Mustang squad. Hannah Burke of Baylor leads at 138.
