Rio Grande, P.R. (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team finished in 15th place at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Tuesday, February 9, carding a team 323 over the final 18 holes and finishing at 953 for the 54-hole event at the Trump International Golf Club.

SMU's top finisher was Tia Gannon, who tied for 32nd at 13-over 229, following final-round 78. Tanya Wadhwa (234/T46th), Jennifer Hooper (241/T69th), Kalie Presti (249/79th) and Liz Wells (255/84th) rounded out the Mustang squad.

No. 9 Alabama won the team event at 872 and Caroline Hedwall of Oklahoma State took medalist honors at 209.
