Bremerton, Wash. (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team is in 10th place after carding a 307 in the opening round of the NCAA Regional at Gold Mountain Golf Club. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each Regional will advance to the NCAA Championship. With 36 holes remaining, SMU is 13 shots out of fifth place.
The Mustangs are led by Draegen Majors, who shot 74. Kelly Kraft and Ben Tewes carded 77s and James Kwon and Matt Schovee scored 79s.
