Former Mustang Johan Brunstrom will open doubles play at Wimbledon on Wednesday, June 23, when he and partner Jean-Julien Rojer take on 11th-seeded Marcel Granollers and Tommy Robredo on Court 11 in the Gentlemen's Doubles draw.

Brunstrom and Rojer defeated Granollers and Robredo, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4, at the Australian Open earlier this year to reach the third round of the Grand Slam event. That performance marked the furthest a Mustang alum has advanced in a Grand Slam event since Richie Reneberg teamed with Jared Palmer to win the 1995 Australian Open.

This will be Brunstrom's third Wimbledon. He reached the second round in both 2008 and 2009. Brunstrom has been ranked as high as No. 31 in the world in doubles this year.
