M-Swim: Sadauskas Earns Weekly Award

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU men's swimmer Mindaugas Sadauskas earned Counsilman-Hunsaker National Collegiate Swimmer-of-the-Week Honors for the week of Dec. 13-20.
At the Chesapeake Elite Pro-Am Swim meet in Oklahoma City, Sadauskas swam the 50 freestyle and qualified 2nd with a prelim time of 20.43. Finals in the 50 free was shoot out style, and he won the first round in 20.31. In the second round, he swam a 20.20. In the championship round, he again went 20.20, finishing the event in second place. He finished the night by leading off the 400 medley relay (51.09- back split).
