Hello Mustang Fans!

Can't believe we are over half way through season already, the time has gone by so fast! It feels like just yesterday we were in double days, getting to know the newcomers of the team and preparing for the season. And now we are 16-4!

We are coming off of a win against East Carolina last Sunday. It was a great game for us. Everyone was fired up and executing really well. After a little bit of a slump for us, it was exciting and fun to be back to playing the SMU Volleyball that we know and love. But that's not nearly enough for us! We are back in the gym working on the details of our game and preparing for this weekend against Temple and UCONN. This team is full of passionate players and we are all dedicated to putting in work to achieve our goals. I think it's safe to say I speak for all of us when saying anything less than going to the NCAA tournament this year will be a disappointment! We have such a talented group of girls this season and as long as we continue to improve every week, the possibilities are endless!

It has really been an amazing four years playing on this team and being able to represent SMU while traveling across the country. I have had the chance to play with so many amazing girls, many of which I know will be my life long friends. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to come to SMU to continue my volleyball career and I can't believe it is already almost over! This year's team is really something special, and I'm looking forward to what the future holds for us. Couldn't have asked for a better group of girls to get to play my last season of volleyball with!
