DALLAS -- The SMU women's track and field team will split its squad for the second weekend in a row on Friday. The sprinters and field performers head to Waco for the Baylor Invitational, while the distance runners travel to California for the Stanford Invitational.
Last weekend, the Mustangs competed in a pair of Texas meets. Sprinters competed at the Texas Relays and field athletes competed at the Texas State-hosted Bobcat Invitational. The Mustangs had an impressive showing at Texas State, as Isabella Marten (triple jump), Tochi Nlemchi (shot put) and Lucija Cvitanovic (javelin) all captured individual titles.
