DALLAS -- The SMU women's track and field team travels to California this weekend for the 57th-annual Mt. San Antonio College (SAC) Relays April 16-18 at the historic Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, California. This year's meet will be the last time that the competition is held at the world famous Hilmer Lodge Stadium under its current configuration.
The relays begin on Thursday afternoon with the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the 10,000-meter run.
The Mustangs were off last weekend after splitting its squad on April 3 for the Baylor and Stanford Invitationals. In Waco, Stephanie Kalu (100-meter) and Tochi Nlemchi (shot put) recorded top-five finishes for SMU. Following Mt. SAC, the Mustangs will have only one meet remaining, the Longhorn Invitational on May 2, before the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship May 14-17.
