The [RV] SMU women's soccer team returns to action Wednesday, when it heads to Raleigh, N.C., to take on East Carolina. The game, which was moved from Greenville, N.C., due to conditions left by Hurricane Matthew, is slated for 7 p.m. ET/ 6 CT. ABOUT SMU: The Mustangs are 9-3-1 overall and 3-0-1 in American Athletic Conference action after, a 0-0 draw against then-No. 21 Connecticut Thursday and a 2-1 win over Temple Sunday. SMU is tied for first in the AAC with Connecticut, which won, 1-0, at Houston Sunday. The Mustangs are receiving votes in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Poll, and is ranked No. 4 in the Northeast Region after wins at then-No. 15 USF and UCF. Entering the match, SMU is top-five in six NCAA statistical categories, while leading The American in the same six.
