"Our goal is to get better every week and I think this was a good start," Head Coach Jeanne Sutherland said. "We beat some teams that were ranked ahead of us and it's nice to see where we stand to start the spring, but we still have a lot of work to do moving forward."
Haglund posted a 3-over 75 on the final day following an even-par performance on day one and a 2-under 70 on day two. The senior finished the event with 10 birdies over three-rounds and an eagle during the first 18.

"This tournament was truly a team effort," Sutherland added. "Jenny [Haglund] played well throughout and I'm proud of her for that, and Katie [Page] played a steady tournament all three days. I thought Brigitte [Dunne] played well and it was nice to see Lindsey [McCurdy] and Alex [Rossi] bounce back on day three and look solid and confident."
Event host No. 34 Florida State won the event firing a 3-under on the final day for a three-round score of 871, which ties South Carolina's 2014 score for the event's best. The No. 44 Gamecocks finished second (+11, 875) and 33rd-ranked Furman was third (+26, 890).
Texas A&M's Maddie Szeryk earned medalist honors, carding a 5-under 211, the second lowest tournament score in the event's four-year history.
