Day One Results
 
AUSTIN, Texas (SMU) –Junior Brigitte Dunne fired a 1-under first round and finished day even at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational to currently sit in a tie for 11^th through the first two rounds. Sophomore Faith Summers' second round was the best round of the day for the Mustangs, notching a 2-under 70. Summers is also in the top-15 of the 81 golfer field, tying for 14^th at 1-over for the tournament.
 
Dunne and Summers each notched six birdies apiece to lead the Mustangs in that category.
 
As a team, the Mustangs improved on their first round by nine strokes in the second round of the tournament. SMU currently finds itself in a tie for 14^th.
 
Both sophomore Kenzie Wright and freshman Lauren Chappell rebounded after opening round scores of 83, improving in the second round by seven and five strokes, respectively.
 
The tournament concludes on Tuesday morning with the third, and final, round. Play begins at 8:30 with a shotgun start.
