CATOOSA, Okla. (SMU) - SMU rowing wrapped up action at the Tulsa Fall Invitational and concluded its fall season on Saturday.
 
The Mustangs were led by Alyssa Sands and Lauren Vanek's performance in the varsity 2-, finishing second of nine entries with a time of 20:14.7 on Friday. The duo has two strong performances this year, as they finished sixth at the Head of the Oklahoma in the 2-.
 
On Saturday, with Emily Fogg as the coxswain,  Vanek and Sands along with Madison van Meel, Juliet Traylor, Erin Pierce, Emily Macadam, Paige Papesch and Adelaide Moore finished fifth in the varsity 8+.
 
This was the Mustangs last head-style regatta of the season and the final regatta of the 2017 calendar year. SMU returns to action against Iowa on February 10.
