The SMU women's soccer team welcomed six freshmen into the Mustang family, adding
Sophie Adler,
Hannah Allred,
Haley Jackson,
Isabelle Nashmi,
Katia Novi and
Ale Winn. Allred, who is from Fort Worth, Texas, starts off the series introducing fans to these six new Mustangs.

Allred has played in all six games for the Mustangs in 2017, including a start against Indiana.
Â
Prior to her arrival on the Hilltop, the Fort Worth, Texas, native, was a consistent selection to train for U.S. Soccer at the North Texas Training Center. Allred played club for the Dallas Texans ECNL and at Nolan Catholic High School.
Under Leo Maric with the Texans ECNL, she helped the team to two Dallas International Girls Cup titles (2014 and 2016), along with the Texas Conference Championship in 2015. During her tenure with the Texans, she helped lead the team to a top 25 National ECNL ranking twice, including a No. 4 ranking in 2015. Allred earned TopDrawer soccer honors, being named to the ECNL Phoenix Best XI as one of the tournament's top players, and a TopDrawer ECNL Texas Top 20 Player in 2014. Under Jay Fitzgerald at Nolan Catholic High School, she earned First Team All-State TAPPS Division I and First Team All-District TAPPS Division I honors. Allred was named DFWVarsity Area TOP 10 Scorer (29 goals/18 assists). She was named the NCHS Co-Athlete of the year, while garnering Co-Player of the year and Offensive Player of the Year awards on the soccer team. Prior to Nolan Catholic, played at Keller Central HS and earned First Team All-District 4-6A and Second Team All-District 5-6A honors.

How have your teammates and coaches helped you become acclimated to college? The girls have been so great. They have invited us and included us in a lot of things that have shown us around Dallas and made us feel welcome.
