Day Two Results
WOLCOTT, Colo. (SMU) - After the second round of play at the Golfweek Conference Challenge, SMU sits in a seventh place with 18 holes remaining to be played in the final round tomorrow.
Sophomore
Ana Paula Ramirez fired the Mustangs best round of the day, coming in at a 2-over par 74 for the second consecutive round. Ramirez currently sits in a tie for 26th individually. Freshman
Kennedy Pedigo (71-76—147) still holds the Mustangs best overall score for the tournament through two rounds and is tied for 18th on the individual leaderboard.
Denver, the host of the tournament, moved up three spots in round two and climbed to the top of the team leaderboard with a combined tournament total of 7-over. Arizona's Haley Moore (-6) moved to first individually by shooting 8-under today.
Through two rounds of play, Pedigo leads the Mustangs with seven birdies. Both Ramirez and sophomore Faith Summers have holed six birdies.Â
The tournament wraps up tomorrow with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. CT.
