DALLAS, Texas (SMU) – Looking to continue their undefeated win streak in meets this season, the No. 2 SMU Mustangs will host the No. 6 TCU Horned Frogs at the Dallas Equestrian Center in a metroplex rivalry meet, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 10). Live scoring can be located at

SMU is the only team in the United Equestrian Conference (UEC) with a perfect 4-0 record. The only other team in the NCEA with no losses in meets this season is No. 1 Auburn.
The fight with SMU's Fort Worth foe will be the final home meet of the fall. SMU will travel to Delaware to compete in two conference battles against Delaware State (Nov. 16) and UT Martin (Nov. 17) to conclude the fall schedule, and the spring season will resume on February 2 at Texas A&M.
Tying for the top ranking in program history, the Mustangs rose to No. 2 in the Farnam Team Rankings this week. SMU has either gone up or stayed the same in each rankings announcement this year. Last season was the first time SMU achieved silver status.
Coming off their most recent win against Fresno State at home, 15-5, head coach
Carol Gwin emphasized the significance of this Saturday's meet.
"I feel like this meet is a pivotal meet in our season," Gwin said. "We've had a great start to the fall, but TCU always comes prepared and are one of our toughest competitors. Practice is going great, and we hope to continue our undefeated home win streak."
The last two times the Horned Frogs have competed on The Hilltop, SMU has emerged victorious, 11-8 and 9-8, respectively.
So far in the fall, the Mustangs have garnered 12 conference honors, 13 Most Outstanding Player (MOP) awards and six wins (including an exhibition and scrimmage).
Next weekend, the No. 2 Mustangs will travel to Dover, Delaware to ride against the No. 9 Delaware State Hornets (Nov. 16) and the UT Martin Skyhawks (Nov. 17).
