SMU is 3-1 in dual action this season, with wins over North Texas, Iowa State and TCU, and placed fourth of 12 competing teams at the Hawkeye Invite in November. Sophomore
Andrea Podmanikova has posted times under the NCAA B standard in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley, while junior
Erin Trahan has B cuts in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly. Freshman
Olivia Grossklaus joins Trahan in the 200 as well.
Missing from the Mustang roster at the event are Podmanikova (Slovakia) and
Felicity Passon (Seychelles), who are currently competing at FINA World Short Course Championships in Hangzhou, China.
The LISD natatorium is a familiar venue for the Mustangs, having hosted events at the facility from 2014-17 while the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center was being built.
